We all have fears, identities and the desire to be liked; to feel connection and love. This retreat is a practice of abundance, to step into a world where of presence and creativity, structure and freedom, playfulness and depth.
Zouk & Fusion Dance
Zoukenergy is a dance retreat that combines structures workshops with adventurous activities, live music and nature. It is a combined experience of holiday and festival.
Why Zouk & Fusion Dance?
Zouk and Fusion dance go SO well together. They both invite a full upper and lower body expression of movement and connection. By taking the best of both worlds, we can combine the fluid-flow and creative dynamic of Zouk with the broad-rhythmic creativity and multitude of connection dynamics from fusion dance. The Zoukenergy retreat is a perfect marriage of their skills and conscious communities.

Zoukenergy gave my life a new meaning. The retreat was a profound and magical experience for me, filled with love, dance, connection and play. I softened my soul and opened my heart to feel myself. I faced my fears, stretched my comfort zone and felt supported by the community. It felt like a year went by in a week. It was one of the most profound and life-changing weeks of my life.

At first I was in resistance, I didn't feel like so much programme, so many rituals. Above all, I wanted to dance! But the rituals transformed my dancing, opened my heart and gave me so much safety. Jonny managed to create a space that went deeper and deeper every day. I think that's what touched me the most, to experience how much respect, esteem and presence there is between men and women, and how sexual energy can flow freely and still be much safer than in the outside world. I've never experienced it like that before.

Participating in the Zoukenergy event was life-changing. The experience was like a rebirth for me, both in dance and in my sense of self. The atmosphere was electric everyday, and each workshop and ceremony allowed me to peel away layers of doubt, revealing a new - more confident me that I haven't experience like this before. It was the kind of confidence that is from deep within myself. I left the event feeling recharged in my body and refreshed in my sense of connection to the world.

Jonny is an experienced and authentic facilitator who brings depth, presence and playfulness to movement, dance, and sacred spaces. He invites participants to feel the intelligence of their body and apply wisdom that comes from authentic movement and loving interactions.
